Sometimes the first win is just the beginning.
One of my favorite kinds of messages is an update that starts with “We won one!”...and then another update arrives later.
These families let me watch the wins build over time.

The first scholarship does not have to be huge to matter. A $50 or $500 win can be the moment a student realizes this is real and worth continuing.

Scholarship donors are not all looking for the same student. Different opportunities care about different experiences, interests, goals, activities and stories.
That does not mean every student will get the same result. It does mean you do not have to assume your student is out of the running simply because they do not fit one perfect scholarship mold.
